I felt supported every step of the way. They are diligent, do all appropriate testings, were great at following-up, referrals, appointments are organized, place is always clean, explain things thoroughly, helped me manage expectations, safety is number one priority, your mental health is genuinely valued, finances are transparent, and they offer many resources including birth preparation virtual classes. Starting with Ms. Patricia over the phone and then Kerra that welcomes you at the entrance with a smile and is always willing to help you out. Every single midwife is special in their own way. Audrey is so sweet and nurturing, there’s no rush in appointments with her and she takes time to listen and always give you a soothing advice. Tiffany gave me confidence and reassurance when I was dealing with a stomach bug, her calm, grounded energy is inspiring and comforting. Melanie is caring and so kind, she’s passionate about her work and consistently helped me stay positive, during birth she made me feel that everything was going to be okay. Dawna is the OG of midwives, she gave me my very first tour and was also the one who placed my baby on my chest when he was finally born. She is tough but gentle, helped me stay centered, and her experience and knowledge plus bright blue eyes gave me the extra confidence to push when I thought I had nothing left. She also offered the best lactation advice during my 24-hour postpartum home visit. While I may choose a home birth for a future baby, for a first birth I would choose Magnolia again without hesitation. Thank you to everyone there. Magnolia Birth House will forever hold a special place in my heart. I gave birth to my son, Mukhtar, here two years ago, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. We birthed our firstborn with Magnolia and the whole experience was nothing short of magical. The birth center itself is cozy and inviting. The staff is always pleasant and kind. All of the midwives and midwife assistants made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They’re understanding about payment scheduling and flexible with appointment scheduling. The birth of my daughter was amazing and we’re now pregnant with baby #2 and didn’t even think twice about whether or not we’d return to Magnolia, it was a given. My experience at Magnolia Birth House was truly lovely and peaceful. I felt completely safe, both for myself and my newborn, and the atmosphere made me feel right at home, even though I wasn’t in my own space. While the idea of a natural birth can seem intimidating, it was far from that, thanks to the amazing midwives, especially Golda and Dawna. The midwives were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also took the time to provide me with valuable information I hadn’t even considered, especially as a first-time mom. All of my appointments leading up to labor were stress-free and enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, with thoughtful details like snacks and water always available, courtesy of Kerra, the receptionist. The little things really made a difference in making me feel taken care of. The birth itself was an unforgettable experience. My partner and I felt welcomed and well-cared-for throughout the entire process. The support we received from the staff made it such a positive and empowering experience, and I would absolutely choose to return if I were to go through it again.
