My experience with Manipal Cigna Health Insurance was very good. I was admitted for kidney stone surgery and related complications last year. My cashless claim went very smoothly and I was updated everytime of the status. I am a happy and satisfied customer of Manipal Cigna Health Insurance

The company processed the claim swiftly and did not make us follow up repeatedly. The insurance covered quite an amount which made the treatment easy. Thanks to Manipal Signa I could afford good treatment in timely manner.

I'm quoting - Mr. Mayuresh Srivastava from the Google reviews. This is exactly what happened with my mother's claim (Mandakini) who was admitted in Ernakulam Medical Center hospital , Kochi, kerala (72years) with high fever and very low sodium levels. Exactly what Mr. Mayuresh mentioned, they raised queries every other week, with "missing documents". They kept raising queries even though the information was present in the discharge summary and all other documents submitted along with it. This was absolutely a stressful harrassment cycle for myself and my brother trying to figure this out, but eventually they rejected the claim with silly reasons ( reason they mentioned is that my Mom who is 72 years , wasn't supposed to be treated at hospital, rather she should have been subjected to medication at home. I completely trust my doctor's advise at the hospital to have her admitted for treatment and i know that having the right doctors treat my mother and save her from further complications was the right thing to do so.) We are terribly disappointed and now that we all know, this is their pattern of fraud and means of rejecting claims, be very very alertful of this company. If there was a review option worse than giving a single star, i would rather choose that. Below i quote Mr. Mayuresh as i have the exact same experience. "Mr. Mayuresh Srivastava - I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Manipal Cigna. A simple health insurance claim has turned into a long and stressful harassment cycle. All required documents were submitted, verified, acknowledged multiple times — yet every few weeks, a new “missing document” query is raised. Despite submitting attested copies, cancelled cheque, investigation verification, and even resubmitting documents when asked, the claim is still being delayed without valid reason. Instead of processing the claim efficiently, the company keeps asking for information in bits and pieces, which clearly reflects poor claim management and lack of accountability. This experience has caused unnecessary mental stress, repeated follow-ups, and zero resolution. It feels less like customer service and more like an intentional attempt to delay or avoid claim settlement. Customers trust health insurance companies during vulnerable times — but Manipal Cigna has completely failed to support that trust. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing a policy from them." - this company and its staff had all the body language and the intention of rejecting the medical claim. Absolutely distrustful and irresponsible.

So far excellent. It was hastle free cashless claim full amount to me and my wife. Pre and post operation cost also received 90% amount with in 2 days of applying. I was admitted in Manipal Hospital, Kanakapura road.it is bit costly.. Wish it remains the same.
