Wow, I am so glad I did this. It was hands down the best thing I did for myself during pregnancy. I knew I wanted to take a birth class, and I am SO GLAD I did a more in depth one focused in hypnobirthing. I feel super prepared but more importantly, Care's instruction and method of teaching left me empowered and excited to give birth with significantly less fear. It covered many topics I didn't know to even look into (you don't know what you don't know!) and fostered great communication with my husband. She also gives you so many tools for before and during labor (induction videos, meditations, books, breathing and massage techniques to reduce tension). I want to refer this class to all my friends and shout it from the rooftops. If you can set yourself up for a better birth experience with less fear, intervention and unknowns (on what happens to your body and the hospital systems) why would you not do it? We will miss spending our Tuesdays with you Care!!
We discovered this hypno-birthing class through a recommendation. After reading all the reviews we decided to sign up for the class and I’m so glad we did. My wife and I are a lesbian couple excepting our first child and neither one of us knew what to expect. I was the one carrying and was terrified whenever I thought about how our son was going to come out of me. Care’s class made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The class was a mix of first time parents and parents that were looking to redo their birthing experience. It felt soo good to be able to share and connect with other moms who were going through the same exact thing I was. The class gave my wife and so much knowledge and confidence about the entire birthing process it helped us realize we wanted to do a home birth. I am soo grateful we took this class as my home birth turned out to be the most beautiful experience of my life. I felt so strong and empowered because I was fully prepared by this class. It also helped establish trust in confidence that my partner would be able to support me through the difficulties of labor. All expecting couples should take this powerful class. I forgot to mention the class was online once in the evening for a few hours for a few weeks. It was nice and convenient to be able to take the class from the comfort of our home in Joshua Tree, California.
My husband and I recently took Hypnobirthing classes from Care through the Birth Education Center. As we are heading into the birth of our child we are so grateful we took this course. Care was kind, welcoming, warm, funny and was full of knowledge and experience. She created a comfortable class atmosphere that allowed us to learn all we needed to know heading into birth and created a community with the other birthing couples in the class. I feel empowered by the knowledge I have gained from this course and would recommend to anyone who is giving birth, regardless of what type of birth you are planning for. Thank you Care!
Our experience with Care for placenta encapsulation has been nothing short of outstanding—this is actually our third time working with her, which says a lot about the trust and confidence we have in her service. From start to finish, she is consistently organized, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The quality of the capsules and the care she puts into every detail truly stand out. Each time, the results have exceeded our expectations and supported a wonderful postpartum recovery. We cannot recommend her highly enough and are so grateful for the care and professionalism she provides every single time.
I’ve considered writing this review for some time, and after it remaining on my mind for over a year, I felt it was important to share my experience. The online class format is very dense. Unfortunately, I missed the final four sessions because my baby arrived prematurely at 34 weeks, so I can’t speak to the full curriculum. What I can speak to is the level of support provided. You pay a significant amount for these courses with the expectation of receiving both knowledge and support. While I was on hospital bed rest for a week awaiting delivery, I made multiple attempts to contact the instructor. We were repeatedly told that teachers were available for support whenever needed. At that point, we had not yet covered cesarean sections, and given my circumstances, I reached out seeking guidance so I could prepare. I never received a response—not even after explaining that I was hospitalized and would be unable to attend the remaining classes. I was honestly shocked by the lack of communication. While this may have been a one-off experience, it left me feeling that the support promised did not align with what was actually provided, and it left a lasting negative impression.
