I had a 12lb baby naturally and without tearing at The Natural Birth Place. My baby and I were so incredibly healthy thanks to these women. The care I received was beyond anything I expected. They monitored me and my son constantly with such gentle care and consideration. If I had gone the OB route, he would have been a C-section and there would have been so much more fear and stress. I’m so grateful to have been able to birth my son naturally. Both of my children have been born here and it’s been an incredible experience both times. Maria and her team are incredibly knowledgeable - all the advice they’ve given us has really changed our lives as parents. From breast-feeding to nutrition to newborn care - you get so much out of the appointments, it’s so different from the quick in and out experience of an OB. Sabrina, who primarily oversaw our son’s birth, was incredible and we felt so supported the entire way. I wouldn’t give birth anywhere else. Our son was a 15 hour labor but they made it as easy as it could be. We are eternally grateful to the Natural Birth Place!
So thankful for another amazing birth experience at The Natural Birth Place! We welcomed our second baby into the world with the help of Maria King. She was so supportive throughout the pregnancy and provided an extremely high level of care. Our prenatal visits were very thorough. She takes her time and makes sure you have all the information to make informed decisions about your pregnancy, birth and for your newborn. The birth of our son was exactly what I’d hoped for and I feel very fortunate that I was able to have a second out of hospital birth. Maria and her team were attentive, professional, caring and kind. My son and I were well taken care of and I felt confident in being able to have him naturally without intervention. He’s a few weeks old now and doing great! We’ll continue to see Maria for follow up care and lactation support. I would highly recommend Maria!
100% recommend! They gave me the birth experience I had hoped for and exceeded my expectations of prenatal & post natal care. Never felt like a ‘patient’ and only ever a person throughout my whole time with them. I not once had a negative experience and always looked forward to my appointments. They always had time to answer my questions and help me with my concerns and my personal situation. We were never rushed with our appointments even if they went over our appointment time. It’s amazing to find somewhere that makes you feel truly cared for when my previous hospital birth I felt like a number on their patient list. They involved our whole family and treated us with nothing but care and respect. Once myself and baby were discharged from their care I felt like we had made friends through the relationships we had built throughout my pregnancy. Will 100% return if we have another baby in the future. Thank you Maria, Sabrina and team for a wonderful, unforgettable experience!
Maria and the team at The Natural Birth Place are consistently amazing! Gladys goes out of her way to take care of anything insurance and paperwork related, and the (student) midwives are very personable and knowledgeable! Everybody knows the clients by name and during every visit, Maria and the (student) midwives always take all the time necessary to answer any questions. The appointments even allow for random personal chatter, which is great for developing a relationship of trust. This relationship of trust is vital to a good laboring experience! I have been fortunate enough to have Maria assist me in birthing two of my children, and I don't want anybody else but the Natural Birth Place team to be by my side during labor and delivery! Maria is also a great IBCLC Lactation Consultant, and her expertise has played a big role in a successful breastfeeding journey after a tongue tie revision. My babies are latching great and growing at the speed of sound!
The Natural Birth Place is truly a gem. Maria King her her team are by far the most caring individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with in the medical field. We were with Maria from 5 weeks through birth. Her prenatal care is top notch. She spends a vast amount of time with you at each appointment ensuring you feel comfortable, confident, and most of all feel like family. You always feel supported in and out of the office. Through birth and postpartum Maria, Vanessa, and Michelle all gave 100% to help our family through this beautiful journey.
